You should be able to show in open as far as I know they cant stop you

They won't have an issue as its no skin off their nose if you want to be in open class

To my knowledge they do not have a junior section at the Royal, only a schools section.

The whole question of Junior sections can be confusing to any newcomer.
It depends entirely on what each specific club puts in it's rules which should be attached to the schedule.
Generally Juniors can only compete in that section up to the age of 16, then they have to compete in open competition.
I have never shown as a junior, always in open classes, commencing in 1955 (were no junior sections then anyway, had to compete in open classes).
Some clubs only allow a junior to compete as juniors if they are under 16 and have not won 3 Best Junior Awards, then they compete as open exhibitors to allow other keen juniors to taste success.
Some clubs specify that Junior exhibitors must have a different variety/colour to any other exhibitor at the same address.This was done because Dad or Grandad entered 2nd best fowls in the childs name to get extra classes, prize money and trophies.
Some clubs specify that the junior exhibitor must "PEN" thier own fowls ie must be interested enough to take an active part in showing, not just entered in thier name, for the same reasons as above.
If it is your passion to show as it is with the rest of us then avoid the Junior classes, they really are only classes to encourage children to get interested and maybe avoid disappointment of not winning a card, show as an open exhibitor and take your chances.
The benifits are greater with assistance from older exhibitors, they will respect you and admire your commitment, you may in the beginning be out of the winners circle but that happens to the best of us, it's character building and the best learning experience if you allow it to be.Study the winning specimens, achknowledge the short comings of your own entries and next time strive to do better. You will be the winner in the long run and a better breeder for it.
There is no legal obligation to prevent you showing in open comp or why you MUST show as a junior if you are not yet 16.

Yes I have witnessed the juniors penning there own fowls and I think that really benefits them in the long run and if they win they get a better sense of the spirit and work that goes into showing fowl

I believe in the sections of Junior, Novice and Open I think these should be adhered to by all clubs as they are in other hobbies such as budgerigars ect.. Yes there are open shows with just one section 'open' but if a junior or novice wants to enter they can and they compete with the all in the open section.

i am only 15 and i am happy to be a junior shower and get the exerance before i have to go against the adults that show the same sort of chickens as me i want to get help from the men that now the chckens they have and showd for more than i have bean alive
