I agree with william go along to a few shows and meet some breeders. Also ask to speak to the judge and ask him any questions you have.

What's your location Wizz? may ne alble to supply you a list of shows in your area

can i show ducks that are only three mounth old

no ,

they would need to be at least 6 months old , you show them once the caruncals on the face cover the eye ,

then there the right age to show ,

some people dont show muscovys until there around 2 years for the mammoth muscovys ,

normals are okay from around 6months on ,

hope this helps regards jase

I don't show any mussies until they are 12 months or more as jase wrote they need to have good caruncals on the face or they won't get a look in at a show.

A caple of weeks a go a man that worked for thye since rim pets and psets contro came over for that he had a complant sade to him about the sheep we have but any way my dad was talking to him and he said how that I was gowing in to showing and breeding muscovies and then the man rsaid that he breeds and shows muscovies and so he came and had a look at my ducks then he had a look at my two boy ducks he then said that they youngest one has a good even fouther couler and a pasefic boan that was unerd the baly.
then he said that my big boy was pearfict and that he has a good woutle and stafe like that so it was verey exciting for me and he invierd us to go over and have a look at his setup.
