No mention was made that this is linked to other sites, forums or galleries

And also, I have multiple computers at my disposal all in different names, this would not stop me from being multiple people all at once or every member of my house hold could be a member & I promise you would not detect.

It is getting very disheartening when every post I open lately (and I've only been back a while) seems to have some sort of argument running through it.

I'm all for healthy debate, but it's getting a bit unpleasant.

I do think one vote per person might help keep everybody happier and take away any perception of unfairness and "racking up the posts" for the sake of it (not that I am accusing anyone of that, but that seems to be the perception out there, from reading the posts so far). Unfortunately its not always the facts that count - it's often what's perceived to be happening that does the damage.

By the way, because I hadn't read the rules of the competition :oops:

I did only vote once.

I am not a member of any other forum - this is my ONLY chookie online community - so can we get back to being the friendly, informative place that it has been? There are many different points of view on here, and that's great! They just need to be expressed in a constructive manner.

That's my effort at playing moderator.

I'll go back to being a quiet observer now........

I think we should be able to vote as many time as we want it happens on shows like, dancing with the stars, Australian idol, that god awful big brother, Lotto, scratchies, lottery tickets, raffles and so on, its not an election so why restrict. The rules are there for you to see, if you don't like them don't vote, simple. Let’s focus on how lucky we all are to have this forum and the wonderful people that own it after all as someone pointed out no one else is offering anything so lucky us.

It is difficlut to keep all of the people happy all of the time and Admin you do a great job of keeping the balance. Keep up the good work.

And people just remember life is too short and too precious to waste it on such trivial matters. I love to enter the photo comps just to see every one else's photos. Sometimes one is lucky and just snaps the most fantastic photo just by chance and these are so worth every bit of it and I enjoy them so much. Some funny, some just absolutely beautiful, some quirky, some just plan strange. They are all to be enjoyed by each and everyone of us.

I have a couple of good pictures for the next photo comp, so watch out :roll:

I will try to get come cute ones of the chicks because that is what people tend to like the most.
