Product Information
Breathe Ezy is an amazing new product now in Australia. It is a new form of treatment for upper respiratory fungal infections and is also effective against bacterial and viral infections.
It is designed to fight and kill harmful microorganisms and airborne pathogens around your poultry. It can also be used in other animal husbandry applications.
The stabilised ingredient is chlorine dioxide and when used in our ready to use diluted form, will kill all known bacteria, moulds, spores and viruses.
It also has a residual disinfecting effect when you spray or fog the entire coop (when using larger quantities of Breathe Ezy and our Fogger), in addition to the chickens themselves. It also makes an excellent egg sanitiser.
What will it kill? Upper respiratory fungal infections such as aspergillosis, CRD, mycoplasma and other bacterial & viral infections.
Getting into the drinking water of the birds or other animals is not a concern and is actually beneficial. The commercial poultry industry has been using this to treat their drinking water with amazing results.

I saw his as a pet shop i think and wondered how affective it could be so I too would like to know?

The active ingredient, chlorine dioxide, has been used to disinfect municipal water sources in many countries for a long time.

I'd like to see the actual research on its effectiveness and safety that it claims to have for its intended use- not just company advertising blurbs.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm always suspicious- or at least cautious- of products that claim to kill all known pathogens, yet are totally safe to use.

I'm sure you won't have any problems with it, but avoid exposing it to direct sunlight as it will break down & release chlorine gas.

So would this possibly kill the worms cycle if sprayed onto the soil?

No it won't. None of the disinfectants kill worm eggs.

The only things that will are extreme heat ( ie flame scorching) and supersaturated salt solution but the latter works only on hard surfaces, not soil. Liming the soil mostly works as a disinfectant- will help kill bacteria but not very effective on worm eggs at the concentrations that can be safely used.
