& a commercial australorp). The fellow advised they were 4 months old, that they had bought as day olds from the local produce. Well, when I tried to handle them they were the most flighty/feral chickens I had ever come across and they screamed when I touched them and the australorps comb and wattles were black with some sort of scale (which is slowly coming off now) and they were covered in lice and all he ever gave them was bread to eat (oops sorry getting off track from the main topic here.... 
), anyway............I have been spending alot of time with them everyday. Giving them lots of cuddles and talking to them and feeding them some lovely treats.
