just got phone call to pick up the 3doz fertile eggs to go in the old kero incudator thats been running checked re checked doubbelll checked so on n so forth n there not even eeggggssss in it yet :oops:

to make times an dates easy for figure out wise the babies to be are going in at 1pm today know specialey me got any idear wot i will get if any , out of 36 eggs i cannt find 2 the same size let alone same colour but from 1pm onwards arms legs an wot ever can will be crossed { this is more than a live test 4 the incubator an me

its a way to bring patter of 68 tiny feet in to my yard } yeah ok ok tha champus n cigars may hav been bit early :oops:

regretfully none , the eggs i didnt lose due to them cracking , i disposed of after one egg broke open an left a VERY unpleasent odor in the incubator ,

did breack few of remaining open " half formed an near full formed dead chicks told me a sad story me , eggs or incubator had big problems . NOW WAITING ON MY OWN FERTILE EGGS , or obtaining a breed/s i want , meanwhile reading every scrap can find on successfull incubation

ooh, That's too bad.

I tried to incubate many times. First quail eggs in an old Styrofoam incubator that a friend loaned me. One chick, in I reckon, 60 odd eggs.

Then I tried one of those little numbers that hold 7 quail eggs or 3 chook eggs. No luck with Quails but I did get 2 chook eggs to hatch. Both boys and both developed some kind of leg problems.

Then tried with a broody hen. Great results. A lot less work too. I think I'll stick with the natural way. Can't stand the disappointment with the incubating manually.
