Unboxing and setting up GQF Sportsman

Unboxing the incubator shows the excellent packaging used, once removed there are two feet that fit on the bottom of the incubator by removing the protective tape covering and sticking them in place.

the middle and bottom door latches are in place but the top one is not finished, u need to remove the silver screws and fit the latch into the same holes with the screws that are provided in the pacakage.

following the instructions to fit the wafer and getting the temp right does not take very long at all, one note, make sure u turn the controller in teh desired direction as noted on the sticker, as u can see in one of the pictures i have a multiquip wet bulb thermometer, i chose to use this and leave the QGF thermometer soley for that purpose.

Oh and yes pics of babies is a definite must. But that's a given isn't it since you posted pics of your baby quails already so we just have to wait to see your next brood :-D

pics were taken with an iphone4S

there is nothing fancy in the bator atm jsut a bunch of mixed bloodlines mixed with more mixed up chooks lol but they lay well,

will be setting 5 dozen pure bloodlines in a week so there will be something interesting there
