found sitting on eggs

I have a little old english bantam that I just found sitting on eggs behind the garage which is not covered. I know she has just started as she was out with the others all day saturday and sunday but with the cold nights here I am considering moving here but if I do will she go back to the eggs in the box

if you want to move her somewhere safer, you can try putting her in a pet pack or similiar with the eggs and nesting material.
keep her in there for a day or two,(locked in) there is a good chance she will continue to sit.
i have done this before, it can work..

Wildhen,
Unless she is in a location where a she could be taken by a fox or dog, I would just leave her be. Generally a hen, especially OEG tend to pick suitable locations to set. Generally cold will no be an issue, rain is more of a concern.

If you choose to move her do it at night while it is dark, they tend to settle better than when done during the day. As per Swayne, put her in a box or pen for a few days, supervise her first outing off the eggs to ensure she gose back to them after feeding. If she goes back to the eggs on her own all will be good after that.

Thanks to both of you I decided to leave her and put some wire around her with food and water and I will check on her twice a day
